Elder Music Therapy

Thanks in part to a grant from the Lawrence Cultural Council,  we are excited to begin working with the elderly of Lawrence as well as the youth. Beginning in March of 2022, our music therapist will be visiting Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services and Berkeley Retirement Home to provide services.By creating opportunities for seniors to foster socio-emotional connections, preserve cognitive abilities, and improve or maintain health and wellness through shared music making, this program contributes to the overall well-being of the senior community and, by extension, the vitality of the community as a whole.
